Recent Work

In Georgia and the southeastern US, we've been experiencing one of the worst droughts in recorded weather history, and I've been temporarily fixated on making rain-related work, with the exception of a recent burst of sunshine in the form of a vase.

Rain Palace Epic Drought

Rain Palace in the Midst of an Epic Drought

This rain palace with raindrop domes was created in order to feel less grim about an extended string of beautiful sunny days. Fall 2007.

Vitreous, metallic, iridescent, mirror, and stained glass; turquoise-gold and silver smalti; imitation pearls. Blue-gray, yellow, and light green grout.
