These fireworks were made with iridescent stained glass and mirror
glass.

Timurid Moon Fireplace - water detail
The main part of the fireplace was mosaicked indirectly but the
water was done direct, spontaneously cut and applied on location, with
some of the larger ripples initially cut in the studio.

The top section was made indirect
on sticky plastic in the studio using stained glass and the
sides indirect
on craft paper using mainly vitreous glass tiles.

Samarkand Border in progress
This border pattern was made in the
studio using vitreous tiles applied to fiberglass mesh which
could then be installed on site.

A bathroom floor created in a similar manner to the previous
border, made in sections on mesh and installed.
